  • Health Plus Indiana Standing Committees

    Thank you for your interest in serving on the HPI Board of Directors! To help us better understand the experience and skills you would bring to the board, please review the following committees and identify those that align with your interests.
  • Executive Committee

    The Executive Committee shall consist of the offices of the Board of Directors (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer). • Review and agree the business (action) plans and annual proposed budget. • Monitor the achievement of the strategic business plans and annual budget outcomes. • Ensure that all significant systems and procedures are in place for the organization to run effectively, efficiently, and meet all legal and contractual requirements. • Ensure that all significant risks are adequately considered and accounted for by the Health Plus Indiana management team.
  • Personnel Committee

    • Monitor the performance of the Executive Program Director against agreed performance indicators. • Ensure that all significant systems and procedures are in place for the organization to run effectively, efficiently, and meet all legal and contractual requirements. • Assist with changes/modifications of HPI personnel policies/procedures when needed. • Assist Executive Program Director if/when disciplinary issues arise.
  • Governance Committee

    • Review and maintain HPI bylaws, making any changes needed per Article VIII, section 2. • Help facilitate the process for prospective board members. • Nominates Board Officers
  • Development Committee

    • Working with the HPI Executive Program Director to help ensure continued success of all events and marketing plans. • Represent Health Plus Indiana in the community in order to secure relationships to further fundraising/marketing/development efforts of HPI. • Identifying and implementing fundraising opportunities • Soliciting underwriting and pursuing corporate support • Researching grant resources
  • Finance Committee

    • Ensure that all significant systems and procedures are in place for the organization to run effectively, efficiently, and meet all legal and contractual requirements. • Ensure that organization has the appropriate governance structures in place, including standards of ethical behavior and promoting of corporate and social responsibility. • Work with HPI Accountant to monitor the financial stability of the organization.
